Flying High

Add To Basket

This is an interaction song, where the children ( with the help of teachers if needed) hold 1 large piece of cloth up in a big circle. Place a little soft toy bird in the middle of it. At first the song sings of the bird being asleep and the cloth must be kept very still. Then in the chorus the bird is flying high, so wave the cloth and make the bird fly in the air, always trying to keep the bird over the cloth! To make it more of a game, if the bird touches one of the children, when flying, they are out. Great for a party game too!

Solar System

Add To Basket

A song to teach the order of the planets in the solar system. Why not make a circle and have a large ball in the middle, representing the sun. The children pass a smaller ball round to represent the planets orbiting the sun. See if you can get the ball back to the first child before the song finishes. Maybe it will go round several times! Backing track included for an assembly performance.

Add To Basket

This is an action, science song to show simple forces. Children can form pairs to row a boat on the floor, squash and squeeze an orange in the second verse and lastly use a twisting motion to open a jar. It would be good for an assembly performance, but it does not have a backing track.
